Hi, I am

Andrea!

I am a bilingual and bicultural Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor. My work is focused on providing a safe space to address the needs and goals of clients who are ready to begin the healing and growth journey. I grew up in Colombia and have lived in Miami, Orlando, Los Angeles, Chicago, Austin, and Denver. My Master's in Art Therapy is from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago and I completed my undergraduate at the University of Central Florida.

How I Can Help...

As a creative and dedicated therapist, my approach is eclectic, focused, and geared towards your needs, and building the therapeutic relationship. I value being a person-centered clinician. Although I am an expert art therapist, I use other strategies and modalities if talk therapy is your best. The therapeutic space we create is based on finding your balance and mindfully reaching the full potential you envision in your life.

My experience expands from working with clients ranging between the ages of 2-104 years old, individuals, families, groups and couples. I have worked in a variety of settings including retirement homes, residential facilities for children wards of the state, schools, visiting families in their homes, having clients in an in-person office, providing telephone interventions across states and other countries, as well as the virtual counseling setting.

I'm most passionate about joining clients where they are and using the creative lens and tools to illuminate the paths available for the change and improvement they seek.

When I am Not at Work....

Outside of work you can nd me enjoying a hike, spending quality time with friends and family, making/observing art and traveling
