Hi, I am
Brent!
My name is Brent Coleman. I have been a licensed psychotherapist (LPCC, LPC) for over 25 years and a college instructor/ counselor for 12 years. In that time I've worked with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, relationships, personal identity and coping with the demands of juggling college life, family, and career.
How I Can Help...
My experience as a Psychotherapist and College Instructor, Academic Advisor & Counselor has given me the opportunity to better understand the demands and pressures of being a college student.
I strive to consider all the factors including emotional, physical and life history that impact my client's well-being. I try to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where it's possible for my clients to explore their issues and seek better understanding, growth and healing. If this sounds like a good fit for you, please contact me to set up a first session.
When I am Not at Work....
My years of work with others has taught me the importance of taking time for self- care and relaxation. When I'm not working, I enjoy gardening in my yard, creating a "sanctuary' where I can reflect and rejuvenate. I enjoy reading, especially mystery/thriller novels. I also love spending time with my two dogs, Coach and Tyler.
