Hi, I am

Charlotte!

Hello! My name is Charlotte Nadler and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Pennsylvania and a School Counselor in the K-12 program at Virtual Counselor. I believe one of the greatest factors in a successful therapeutic experience is having a strong relationship between the client and therapist. I believe in the importance of taking a non-judgmental and understanding approach, and I have found it important to treat the root causes, not just the symptoms, of people’s problems. By understanding how our struggles can impact many areas of our lives, we can map out, find patterns, and connect the dots to live the life we want. I take a collaborative approach in order to establish goals to work toward.

How I Can Help...

I strive to meet each client where they are, and tailor my approach to your individual needs in order to understand your ultimate goals. Some issues might be dealt with from a solution-focused, cognitive behavioral approach, while other issues are relational or existential. I have extensive training in family systems, including structural and contextual family therapy. Ultimately, I want to build an approach that works for you. This is not a “one-size fits all” model; I am creative, open, and passionate in helping you find the answers you are looking for.

Since graduating with my Master’s in Clinical-Counseling Psychology from La Salle University in Philadelphia, I have worked as an outpatient therapist, a community-based family therapist, and a school counselor at a private school. I have a great deal of experience in relationship issues and parenting, especially coping with medically complex and high needs children, navigating different developmental challenges and educational issues, as well as providing IEP/504 plan support. I have additional training in pediatric feeding disorders, sensory processing disorder, ADHD, career transitions, and anxiety, as well as how all of these issues impact relationships and the family system. There can be a tremendous amount of stress that caregivers and siblings carry, and I have experience in working through these challenges. I have also worked at one of Philadelphia’s premier executive coaching firms in leadership development and career coaching. My former career, prior to working in mental health and education, was in business-to-business marketing, advertising, and project management.

When I am Not at Work....

I love spending time with my family and friends, going to the beach, hiking, baking, running, and supporting my three boys in their many sports and activities. I also love training dogs (I have a yellow Labrador) and I hope to one day be more involved in animal assisted therapies. I am always up for exploring new places and meeting new people!
