Hi, I am

Gabby!

I am a Licensed Bilingual School Counselor with Virtual Counselor and College Telehealth. I have 10 years of experience working in mental health in a variety of settings providing a variety of services to adolescents, adults and families.

Therapy is a tool I use to help young people navigate life's challenges and develop the skills and resilience needed to thrive.

How I Can Help...

In the initial part of my career, I worked with the Department of Juvenile Justice helping families in the child welfare system. This work led me to receive my Master of Science Degree in Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in Florida along with my license to practice. As a Latina, my work and personal experience has led me to have a comprehensive understanding of culturally competent mental health services. With a warm and empathetic approach, I try to create a supportive and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, and work collaboratively with them to find effective solutions.

My specialties include working with children, adolescents and young adults who experience a variety of mental health disorders including anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, mood disorders and autism. Using a variety of evidence-based techniques and a personalized approach, I work with clients to develop strategies for coping and improving their mental health. With convenient virtual sessions and flexible scheduling, it's easy to prioritize your mental health and wellbeing.

When I am Not at Work....

When I am not at work, you can find me on a new adventure with my family! I am married with a son and enjoy trying new places together. I enjoy cooking, dancing, and makeup! I am very attached to my Cuban culture and enjoy keeping the traditions alive in our family. On my free time, I enjoy finding new bands to listen to, visiting museums, and swimming.
