Hi, I am

Natalie!

My name is Natalie and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with Virtual Counselor and College Telehealth. I have 20 years of  experience working in mental health in a variety of settings providing a wide range of services to adolescents, adults and families.

I view therapy as an adventure where knowledge, skills and tools are combined to create healthier solutions. I assist clients in discovering their strengths, build a support system and develop a healthier lifestyle to set the foundation for success.

How I Can Help...

In the initial part of my career, I worked with juvenile delinquents and families in the child welfare system. This work led me to receive my Master of Science Degree specializing in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia. While obtaining my degree, I completed my internship at an acute partial hospitalization program with a local hospital. I was subsequently hired at the hospital and provided a full range of mental health services including assessments, treatment planning, individual and group psychotherapy. My work experience has led me to have a comprehensive understanding of behavioral health services, appropriate levels of care and community resources. Additionally, I have a strong background with risk assessment, crisis intervention and case management.

I specialize in working with children, adolescents and young adults who experience a variety of mental health disorders including anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, mood disorders and autism. I strive to provide a safe, supportive space to listen to your thoughts and concerns and provide holistic treatment to meet your needs. My eclectic approach to therapy aims at helping individuals address specific needs by looking at their behavior, cognition, senses, relationships and physical health. Assisting clients realize that we can not control the world around them, however, we can take control of how they interpret and deal with things have led to may success stories. My goal is to help clients grow from struggles, heal pain and move forward in life by becoming more self aware of the thoughts and feeling impacting their daily lives.

When I am Not at Work....

When I am not working, you can find me in the kitchen trying new recipes on my family. I enjoy spending time with my family camping, taking road trips and exploring new places. Our goal is to visit all of the National Parks in the United States.

It is important for me to balance work life with self care and I spend lots of time outside walking my dogs. I also enjoy doing puzzles, reading books and listening to podcasts.
