Hi, I am

I am a Certified School Counselor in the states of Pennsylvania and Texas with over 20 years of experience working in both the mental health and education fields. During my career, I have had the opportunity to hold positions as a behavioral and mobile specialist, educator, dean of students, school counselor and mental health therapist. These wide variety of roles have helped me form a holistic view of which I use when I approach my work with others. I am also currently working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor and look forward to being able to connect with even more people.

How I Can Help...

After obtaining dual Masters in both Higher Education and Educational Psychology, I began my career by providing services for children, adolescents, teens, young adults and their families, helping them navigate their lives. My work with others has focused on issues such as stress, anxiety, self-harm, success skills, crisis intervention and college and career readiness. I also specialize in working with at-risk and adjudicated youth and providing trauma informed care.

When working with others, I believe my warm personality and non-judgmental approach help clients feel comfortable during our time together. I meet clients where they are and allow them to lead their own journey and explore what is important to them. I work from an eclectic, person-centered approach and individualize sessions to meet the client’s needs. I work hard at helping clients move past barriers that are limiting them and towards leading successful and fulfilling lives.

When I am Not at Work....

I am the mother of two beautiful young ladies, Kennedy and Imani. I enjoy listening to jazz, cooking, and watching movies. I also spend time with my non-profit, which provides adolescents with post-secondary and college readiness assistance.
