I have first hand knowledge of what it is like to be growing up in an environment with increasing technology and social media use. When working with students, I always strive to help them see both the value and potential negatives that come with a tech-based society, to help them make informed choices about the content they consume. I also use media literacy skills when working with students that have negative body image, to help lessen comparisons and focus on a body-positive approach.

I also strive to help each student discover and explore different learning styles in order to find what strategies and methods works best for them specifically. I believe that every student is capable of learning and expanding their knowledge in a safe and supportive environment.
