Hi, I am

Katelyn !

I am a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for guiding individuals of all ages towards positive transformation in their lives. In my years of experience, I've cultivated a therapeutic approach that prioritizes empathy and understanding. I believe in the power of human connection, and my goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and challenges. My mission is to empower you with the tools and insights needed to not only navigate life's challenges but to thrive in the process. Asking for help is a strength, and I consider it a privilege to provide support as you develop resilience, self-awareness, and a deeper understanding of your own strengths.

How I Can Help...

After completing my Master's in Counseling in 2015, I spent several years working as a School Counselor in both in-person and virtual schools in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I have worked with students from age 3 to age 18 as well as their families, teachers, and loved ones. After several years of experience in the school setting, I transitioned to a more diverse professional role by obtaining my Licensed Professional Counselor credential to support people of all ages in ways that fit their life and their needs.

I thrive on examining situations from multiple perspectives, and utilize a holistic approach in supporting clients. I strive to deeply understand your experiences, emotions, and challenges, creating a connection rooted in compassion. Through this empathetic lens, we navigate the complexities of your story with care and understanding. Together, we'll delve into the layers of your experiences, uncovering insights that pave the way for healing and self-discovery.

I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, mindfulness techniques, and more to meet you where you are, support you in learning more about yourself, and guide you to experience a more fulfilling life.

When I am Not at Work....

When I'm not working, you can find me spending time with my husband and family, playing with my dog, Crosby, daydreaming about my next travel adventure, trying out new local restaurants, and watching French TV shows and movies. I am a major Francophile and studied French for my undergraduate degree. I also love watching sports and am a big Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan!
