Hi, I am

Welcome to Virtual Counselor and College Telehealth! With over 20 years of dedicated experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have had the privilege of providing compassionate and effective counseling services to children, adolescents, and young adults. My passion lies in helping individuals navigate the challenges they face during their developmental years, fostering their social and emotional growth, and empowering them to lead fulfilling lives. I firmly believe that seeking help is a sign of strength and I am here to support you on your journey towards personal growth and well-being. Together, we can create positive changes that will last a lifetime.

How I Can Help...

After completing graduate degrees from George Washington University and Johns Hopkins University, I spent a large portion of my professional career as a School Counselor, working with students ages 2 through 20. During this time I was able to hone my skills in understanding the unique needs and emotional complexities of children, adolescents and young adults. I have since transitioned into a more diverse professional role, where I continue to provide services for school-age children and their families, and also now work with adult clients and provide clinical supervision to fellow therapists.

My goal is to create a warm, compassionate, and confidential environment, where clients can express themselves freely and work towards personal growth and self-discovery. With my extensive experience and diverse therapeutic approaches, I will meet each client where they are and tailor our work together to meet their unique needs. My core therapeutic approach is Person-Centered, where I strive to provide non judgmental acceptance, empathy, and authenticity, while supporting clients in exploring their strengths and identity. I recognize that each individual has unique experiences and needs and will work closely with the client to utilize additional therapeutic methods including, but not limited to, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Positive Psychology.

Together, we will work towards personal growth, enhanced well-being, and lasting positive change. I look forward to the opportunity to be a part of your journey towards a brighter and healthier self.

When I am Not at Work....

When I'm not at work, you can find me managing a busy household that includes my husband, 3 teenage children and two fluffy puppies! I cherish any free time that I have and enjoy spending it with family and friends, traveling, reading, exercising, being outdoors and catching up on binge-worthy shows. I also love watching sports and am a life-long Buffalo Bills fan....#GOBILLS!
