Hi, I am
Meredith!
Hi! I am a Licensed Behavioral Specialist who is certified in ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis). Helping others learn about their behaviors and why they might be occurring is important; then offering suggestions for these concerns. I am here to help with any type of counseling need in school-based therapy. I can help children and teens learn to advocate for themselves and express themselves in different situations.
How I Can Help...
I provide a warm and friendly atmosphere to discuss what is important to improve lives. I have a master's degree in school counseling and have been a school counselor, and worked with families and children in homes, schools and communities for over 20 years. Some of my experience has been writing functional behavioral assessments and other tools to help with behaviors in schools and homes. I enjoy helping with school related stress and can help empower kids, and young adults to their full potential. I can offer conflict resolution skills, self-advocacy, and working through anxiety. Goal setting can help improve daily functioning and that is something I enjoy helping others with.
When I am Not at Work....
When I am not at work, I enjoy being outside, planting flowers, and spending time with my family. I love to be in nature, walking, hiking, biking and short runs.
