Hi, I am
Philip!
I am a licensed professional counselor and music therapist with 10 years' experience serving individuals and families in institutional, outpatient, and community settings. My experience includes work with children, adolescents, and adults dealing with mood disorders, anxiety, anger-related concerns, post-traumatic stress, relationship difficulties, chemical dependency and other addictive behaviors, motivational and self-esteem problems, as well as those with developmental delays, including ASD and fetal alcohol spectrum disorder.
How I Can Help...
My approach is individualized, holistic, and focused on helping you understand your feelings, your values, and your patterns, while also developing strategies you can use in daily life. Attachment theory, Jungian psychology, and internal family systems/parts psychology approaches guide my practice.
When I am Not at Work....
In my free time, I enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, including backpacking, fly fishing, and upland bird hunting with my black lab, Brooke.
