Hi, I am

Shevin!

As a licensed clinical social worker with almost 10 years of experience, I am dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges and achieve greater mental and emotional well-being. My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based, drawing on a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.

How I Can Help...

With a passion for supporting individuals facing unique challenges, I bring a diverse background and a wealth of experience to my practice. My journey in mental health advocacy began with a deep commitment to serving those most in need. Through my work with various non-profit organizations and community outreach programs, I have had the privilege of assisting individuals from all walks of life, including those experiencing homelessness, trauma, and addiction. I have served populations including but not limited to, children and teens, adults, seniors, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and the military. I utilize an integrative approach to therapy, incorporating elements of a person-centered approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychoeducation presentations, and trauma-informed interventions. I believe in empowering clients to develop insight, build resilience, and cultivate positive coping skills to overcome challenges and thrive in their lives.

When I am Not at Work....

Outside of work, I enjoy pursuing a variety of interests and activities that help me recharge and maintain a healthy work-life balance. I am an avid reader, scholar, coffee fan, and love all things related film/tv (including production!). I enjoy being outside and adventuring into the world to learn new things about people and culture. I spend quality time with family and friends. I always look for something to challenge me and embrace every opportunity for growth, exploration, and connection.
