Hi, I am

Talitha!

I love working with students and their families helping them grow and reach their full potential. I believe in meeting people where they are while supporting them in moving forward—my motto is, "Meet them where they are, but do not leave them there." I have a particular passion for ADHD and am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Developmental Psychology, with a focus on ADHD research and support.

How I Can Help...

I am a dedicated school counselor with a Master’s degree in School Counseling and a strong foundation in early childhood education. I am passionate about supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of elementary students, with a growing specialization in Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). My work is focused on understanding how ADHD impacts learning, behavior, and emotional regulation, particularly in young children. I strive to create a supportive, inclusive environment where students feel understood and empowered, and I collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff to implement effective, research-informed strategies. Through ongoing study and professional development, I am committed to deepening my expertise in ADHD to better advocate for and meet the diverse needs of my students.

I value mindfulness, balance, and creating space for both movement and reflection—especially for students who may struggle with attention and emotional regulation. I aim to create a supportive, inclusive environment where students feel safe, understood, and empowered, and I work collaboratively with families and educators to meet each child’s unique needs.

When I am Not at Work....

Outside of my professional role, I find a great deal of joy and renewal in spending time outdoors. I love hiking, exploring new trails, and being immersed in nature, where I can slow down, reflect, and recharge. Whether it’s a quiet walk through the woods or a more challenging hike, being outside helps me stay grounded and present. I also appreciate the sense of curiosity and resilience that nature encourages—qualities I strive to model and foster in my students.
